Introduction
Lake Serene was a prize catch, and after five years of searching we decided to take up the challenge of the site we now have. Lake Serene is a very special place and we have worked very hard to make it what it is today, a beautiful place with bird life second to none. There are prize fish, lovely conditioned carp, commons, mirrors, and grass.
John has built a beautiful lodge shower block, kitchen area and a lovely size dining room looking over the lake.

Located in the heart of the Champagne region of France,
Lake Serene is a mature 16 acre gravel pit and a carp anglers paradise.
The private and secure site is approached via a small
country lane away from any traffic noise.
Tree lined banks and purpose built swims make this an
ideal venue for anglers seeking a peaceful and
rewarding carp fishing experience.
Lake Serene was heavily stocked in 2000 with mirrors,
commons and grass carp to over 40lb. New specimens
are being caught each week and the current lake records
are 40lb Mirror - 33lb Common - 33lb Grass.
Lake Serene can be fished on a 'drive and survive' basis
or parties of up to six anglers can travel in our
luxury people carrier with trailer from Dover.
Bait can be ordered prior to your trip and our carp are
regularly fed with GB BAITS LIMITED exclusive
'Fruity Serene' and 'Spicey Serene'
boilies.
Cooked particles and sacks of pellets at competitive
prices can also be ordered and will be available for
you on arrival.
Anglers prefering an 'all inclusive' package can enjoy
their meals in the newly constructed fishing lodge
whilst all guests have access to the recently completed
purpose built shower and toilet facilities.
Local information
Need a Super-Marche? ONLY 10mins away in Vitry le Francois,
or 20 mins in St Dizier. In both of these towns are plenty of
bars
and shops, pharmacies’ everything you will need for your
stay in France.
In the summer try the lovely PYO strawberries just
around the corner.

Vitry le Francois.
